True Trust

Trusting God. It’s not an easy thing to do, in a world that is constantly telling us to be independent. Yet God calls us to depend on Him.
Psalm 9:10
And those who know Your Name put their trust in You, for You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.”

Trusting God is taking a leap of faith to follow His will. Trusting God is following His Word, even when all others don’t.

It’s not worrying about anything, but trusting for God to provide.
It’s seeking God even when we can’t see, and following His plan for our future even when we can’t see it fully. It’s a masterpiece of grace and redemption, a Father with His child; the children relying on the Father to care for them.
We can’t live for God until we let go of the things we hold onto and trust Him. We have to “put off everything that hinders” {Hebrews 12:1} and hold onto our Hope in Christ. Then we can pursue God, trusting Him with each step. It won’t happen overnight, but that is just a part of the beautiful journey. That is truly trusting God.

Blessings,
Moriah
